Life is made up of choices.
We make thousands of choices every day of our lives,
some big and some small, some that matter, and some that really don't.
The choice of accepting Christ, however,
is the most important choice a person can ever make because if effects not just life on this earth,
but also your eternity!
Would you like the peace that comes from being right with God?
Would you like to know that you have a home in heaven after your life on this earth comes to a close?
The Bible explains this clearly, with many verses being taken from the book of Romans:
1. We must first realize that we have all sinned and done things that are against God. We are born into sin, and we must admit what we truly are; sinners!
Romans 3:23
2. Sin has its consequences, and it is death. Not physical death, but an eternal, spiritual death. We deserve death for our sins!
Romans 6:23
3. The results of sin is death, but that is not what God wants for anyone! That is why this verse ends with a better way, a promise for us all! God has a free gift for you!
Romans 6:23
4. God has offered you and I this gift out of His love for us! He sent His son Jesus to die for you and me! He paid the final and ultimate price for our sin! He gave His life as the final sacrifice for our sin.
Romans 5:8
5. So what do you need to do? BELIEVE! Believe and trust in your heart that Jesus gave his life for you and me. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin and live in your heart. Turn your life and heart over to Him!
Romans 10:9-11
To sum it all up;
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ask Him to come in to your heart, by faith, ask Him to forgive you.
The choice is now yours to make, no one can ever make it for you. Will you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ? Are you ready to turn your life over to Him? Don't wait, make this decision today.
If you choose to follow the Romans road to salvation, here is a simple prayer you can pray to God. I don't deserve eternal life,
but I know that Jesus took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven.
